Terminal Heads and Terminal Blocks

Terminal heads house the extension wire and protect the connection between the thermocouple and the wire. They protect against breakage, corrosion and abrasion. General purpose terminal heads can be constructed of a variety of materials including aluminium, bakelite (thermoplastic), stainless steel, cast iron and polypropylene. Standard terminal blocks are typically ceramic or bakelite. Spring loaded terminal blocks are also available.
