Description
4 point multipoint thermocouple design. The C329 multipoint thermocouple is the ultimate in strength and reliability. Each measurement location has both positive (+) and negative (-) conductors of the thermocouple. The initial large cable is swaged down to achieve this. The space around thermocouples is filled with hard pack MgO insulation, as is the case with traditional Mineral Insulated thermocouple cables. Pyrosales custom design and manufacture multipoint thermocouples to suit customer requirements. They are reliable measurement sensors and are available in types K, J, E, T and N.

- Insulation resistance 1,000 MW at 500VDC
- Compacted MgO ceramic insulation – high purity 99.4% minimum
- Purity as per ASTM E-1652 Table 2
- Ungrounded, uncommon junction
- Locations may be marked with either electro etch, or weld bead
- All junctions may be located on one side of the sheath
- Protection sheath and thermocouple wires are fully solution annealed after reduction operation
- Sheath is polished for maximum corrosion resistance
